Our Confession of Faith
We Believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. He died on the cross and was risen back to life on the third day for the remission of sins. No person goes to heaven unless they accept within their heart Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour. Jesus Christ ascended back to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. We accept the one true God The Father, His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit.
Baptism in Water and Holy Spirit
Acts 22:16 ‘And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
Word of God
The Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21) Redemptive truth is set forth in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, which is God’s written revelation to man, verbally inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts.
Prayer and Fasting
(Luke 14:11;James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:5-6)
The Gifts of Holy Spirit
Nine gifts of Holy Spirit are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8–10. In literal translation: 1. A word of wisdom; 2. a word of knowledge; 3. Faith; 4. Gifts of healings; 5. Workings of miracles (literally, powers); 6. Prophecy; 7. Discerning of spirits; 8. Kinds of tongues; 9. Interpretation of tongues. All these gifts are “manifestations.” – the Holy Spirit Himself through these gifts manifests Himself in us. All of them gifts are “for the profit of all”, they all serve some practical purpose, through these gifts Christians can minister to one another. It must be emphasized that all these are gifts of God’s grace, we can never “earn” them, they are received by faith.
Spiritual Warfare
Finite supernatural personal beings exist, including unfallen angels, fallen angels and demons. Satan, the leader of fallen angels, is the open and declared enemy of God and man, and is doomed to the Lake of Fire. (Hebrews 1:4–14; Jude 6; Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10)
Resurrection
There will be a bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to eternal life, and they that are lost to eternal damnation. (1 Corinthians 15; Daniel 12:1–2; John 5:28–29; 2 Thessalonians 1:7; Matthew 5:1–10)
Worshiping God
Worship is direct, intimate, personal communion with our Creator, is scope of activities with which it is appropriate to worship God. In worship, we do not focus on ourselves, or our experiences, but on God. Almighty God is seeking true worshipers in spirit to worship Him. “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him”(John 4:23). In the Bible we read that men of God worshipped him by bowing head (Genesis 24:26; Exodus 4:31) lifting hands (Psalms 63:4; Psalms 141:2), Clapping Hands (Psalms 47:1-2) Kneeling down (2 Chronicles 6:12–13) dancing (2 Samuel 6:12-14) Ultimately the whole universe will make this act of submission to the Creator. In Isaiah 45:23; Philippians 2:10 “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…”.
